One of my blog reader, Lankapo mentioned that she (or he?) has cashed out PayPal using Tune Money card. Tune Money is a reloadable prepaid Visa card.

tune card can also what cash out your bling2 money at paypal. I already did but not so many zeros like you. :)
Have anyone else tried it? If it can be done, it is much easier to apply for Tune Money because you can do it online. I had applied for one but haven’t receive it yet. You read more about Tune Card and how it works from my personal blog.
Regarding activation of PayPal’s account, I heard from several readers that PayPal did not allow activation of the account using Al Rajhi’s Debit Card. If you have a credit card or Public Bank Electron Debit card, you can do so. What you need to do is to enter your credit card/PB Electron card number, get charged for USD1.95. Then, wait for the printed statement to arrive and enter the four digit code into your PayPal account and start to receive or send money. The USD1.95 will be given back to you the next time you make payment.

Paypal has their own debit card that deducts straight from paypal.
It’s the paypal debit card, and it is backed by your checking account linked to paypal.
Not only that, they will give you 1% back for all purchases made from it.
Why not just use that?

dave - Nope, I think it is only for Malaysians.
Sir Jorge - Unfortunately, we don’t have that in our country yet. You know what? We poor Malaysians only get to withdraw our PayPal legally starting in October 2007 I think. Earlier, we have to use the money laundry way. LOL.

where do u wan to pick up the card? They will not call you, after 7 days working day just go to the post office and ask for tune card.

I’m one of lankapo’s blog readers, thanks to him now I’m enjoying PayPal money via Tune Card, the best in using Tune Card to withdraw PayPal money is better forex amount, only takes 3 days in withdraw process and view real time online transactions. I’ve used Tune Card for more than 2 months and withdraw all my online earnings with it.
In addition, I’ve bad experienced in clearing my online income cheque with Public Bank Berhad… 2 months ago, I’ve deposited my online income cheque (foreign cheque) in my Public Bank saving account, normally, after about 1 month, I can withdraw the money to pay my monthly bills as usual I’ve done before, but this time, it has been 5 weeks and I still didn’t receive my money in my account.
So I go to the nearest Public Bank and ask about my foreign cheque status, their customer services officer said, it’s depend to their HQ at KL, they can’t do anything about it, then I’ve called Public Bank HQ at KL but no answer, where the hell their CC officer gone, then I surf their official website at http://www.pbebank.com and send contact form asking about my cheque status, they never replied…
A few days later, I went again to nearest Public Bank and ask about my cheque status since Its still not deposited in my account, their CC officer said, they has sent about my problems to their HQ at KL but still no follow up received. On the next day, they’ve called me and told me that my cheque has lost in transit by their mistakes, they didn’t even apologize, just told me to go and sign a declaration about the loss, sorry!! I’ll never go until I’ve get back my cheque that will be reissued by the issuer…
With this experience, I’ll NEVER BELIEVE PUBLIC BANK anymore….Luckily, when I check my PayPal balance, there are $78.12 available, I withdraw it to my Tune Card and 3 days later, I can withdraw it at CIMB ATM and pay my monthly bills as usual…
As conclusion, Tune Card really works to withdraw PayPal money and its better than other services.
