10Sep So the pagerank came back, huh?
I have stopped using Firefox for a long time already. I normally use Chrome or Safari.
I think I have used Firefox with the annoying green juice marker for pageranks for several months.
This evening, I was using another computer which has only Firefox. And I discovered the pageranks came marching home. All three blogs of mine which were demoted to pagerank zero finally get back a PR3/10 eventhough I did nothing to the blogs.
The lesson I learnt it, if you stop the obssession over pagerank, the world still goes around. We don’t die or something.
Oh, I am not talking about this blog but some other blogs. So long as I sell links on the inner pages, Google will deny me of the green juice.

Do you mean PR update is in process. I don’t see any change in PR of any of my blogs?

It means, if you dont see page rank, it does not matter, because Google obviously see it. That is the reason i learned few times ago.
My website got slapped and PR 0, but without any efforts, it is back to PR 2. So, as said by you, if you don’t see it, We don’t die or something.

I got back my Pageranks too but not for my baby blog, which is my very first blog! I’ve cleaned up the links, removed the PPP code and yet…
How do I apply for a reconsideration?
September 13th, 2009 at 6:17 am
regarding page rank…if you offer quality information on your blog or website, the rest will take care of itself…

kittycat, i think reconsideration can be done by contacting them – the only way is through “google webmaster tools”, theres a way to contact them for consideration there

I definitely agree with you James, quality content is the best factor to get a high page rank.

Pagerank seems to go arrive, leave and return many times, same with SERPS position. Perhaps it is an indication that not all runs smoothly at Googleplex.

Agreed James quality relevant content is the way to go especially with Google, they are constantly upgrading and changing there algorithms…but content remains a strong requirement, when applied with good back links you will literally force the spiders to reward you..
