Hey people! Do you notice that Google is doing some major, drastic, killing pagerank updates?
I lost some pagerank, including this site and several other sites. Yet, certain sites gained PR. So, I think I know what’s killing the pageranks. But I am not telling……
I have been away the whole weekend for a full day workshop. Now, I am too tired to bother about the pagerank cos I no longer sell links based on pagerank, well at least not visibly.
So, how many of you have been pageranked zero? Google seems to update their Google pagerank more and more often. To those of you who got pageranked zero, you can find out how to get them back. Just check under my Pagerank category, found on the sidebar. To those of you who gained pagerank, don’t be too happy yet. You may lose them in another few weeks, or another few months. Nyekkkkk…

pausible reasons
1. your seo pack said it.
2. there was some drastic change to your blog template recently
3. and maybe infolinks

I had the same thinking about the infolink so I have them removed soon as I read this post.
Thought it was suppose to be a good news everytime when there’s a PR update. I’ve been always praying when I load my own blogs. Oh well…

PB – - Do you have crappy sub-domains?
Do you sell links in the old pages?
These are the two causes. The sub-domain pulled the main domain down. Like my parenting blog? The original blog was a good one but the sub-domain with the /blog was for paid posts. I cannot get back the PR for the main no matter how many times I appeal to Google.

haha Lilian, I was just thinking of their single underline that might cause misleading to readers thus getting into the pagerank bashin from Google.
I don’t know what have I done wrong anyway =( it’s been PR0 for 5months anyway lol

Badly, i’m the same to you, my Chinese blog loveblogearn is lose PR now,MY blog is a PR3 blog, i’m like to make money, so i jion TLA, Backlinks, but now PR0. hehe I can’t make money.
But i think, next PR update, the PR will back.

My PR went from 0 to PR2 for all my blogs. Except for my PR2 blog, which stayed at PR2.
I wonder if the people just click one giant red ‘RANDOMIZE PR’ button at their head office and let it run by itself? haha.
Do you think the PR drop could be caused by a drop in PR for all the backlinks to your blog? Like if 1000 blogs linking to you dropped from PR2 to PR0, do you think that would have a knock on effect to you as well?

I try not to look at page rank, google sometimes baffles the heck out of me, so I just carry on regardless and hopefully my content will reflect in my page rank.
