I was a bit sore on the number of bans I received. When the segmentation started a few weeks ago, I have only seven bans. Well. considering that I had taken close to 500 paid posts, seven is a decent figure. However, one fine day, when I was very sure that I am doing things perfectly, I received one more ban.

That single ban has caused me to lose my tacks from five to four.

It works like this:

Advertisers can give us brownie points in the form of votes, from 1-5.

We accumulate those votes and when we have enough, we get a tack.

The more tacks you have, the higher paying opps you get.

But there is this giant red flag and a no-entry sign that advertisers can use to give us the kick. This the ban.

When we get ban, our points reduced, we cannot take the advertiser’s opportunity in future and worst of all if we get too many, we will be kicked out of PPP.

Well, there is a good point in this because amongst the tens of thousands of posties, there are some not so great ones whom deserve a spank. So, if PPP gives the cane into the advertisers’ hands, then, these will be weeded out. However, we are afraid some may be too generous and started hitting the red flag and no-entry icon causing innocent posties to lose their credibility.

So, PPP has heard our grouses in the forum and also the town hall meeting I attended several nights ago. Now, they have implemented this little window to inform the advertisers the dire straits they can put us in. I hope things will improve from here on.

PPP said they are working on letting the posties know in future. Oh well, I don’t handle rejection well and hope it will not kill me that someone actually hates what I wrote! Hehehe, we must take pride in what we do so give your best and hope for the best!
