Working best under pressure?

I have four high paying paid posts from rather discerning clients and I have to submit them YESTERDAY. I could churn out 100 words posts within 5 minutes but those pay only app. RM20 or less (USD5). Now, this is a four digit income job so it makes me terribly stressed out.

So, I have no choice but to ask for extension of the deadline to tomorrow. Or rather within less than 24 hours from now. Had been going around with the ideas spinning in my head all day long but just cannot find the opening sentence. I also need some decent photos and I still cannot find the angle of the story. Argggh…this is the first time I cannot work under pressure.

What about you? Can you come up with superb paid posts if you are being pressured? Like big amount of money and at the same time, you want to be sure that the whole plot is so natural your regular blog readers do not immediately notice that it is a paid post?

All my blogs have been sorely neglected except for my personal and faith blog because in the last one week, I have been to the mortuary to help relative claim bodies twice, watched someone breath his last yesterday, went to buy coffin this morning and a host of morbid stuffs. If I open a niche blog on dying, funeral, finding perfect cremation or burial or morbid stuffs like that, I think I will be pretty good in those topics. LOL, I am only joking. I hope this will be the end of my sabbath from earning money because I need to get back to make more money. Need to oil my gears and get on the grind of making money because the patient has passed on and will be cremated this Thursday.

Not to undermine your writing skills, Lillian, but maybe you should consider getting a freelance writer to do those article for you and pay the person using a small portion of what you earn, since you’ll be getting four digit pay anyways.

You just need to look for someone reliable and can write as well or better than you, that’s all.

I must say, it differs per day really. Sometimes, I really work well under pressure. Sometimes, I can not get one thing done while being under pressure.. Strange really, because, other days, I need pressure to get things done for starters.. Then, no pressure, no work gets done. Am I a weird one in this? Most of the time, I do like a bit of pressure.

The stress level is one reason I never bothered tackling freelance work. I mean 100 words might seem like a little, but when you have to do it 100 times, it can become really overwhelming.

I’m sure it won’t be any problem for a professional blogger like you to churn out a few articles in a matter of minutes. :)
