If you want to clear US Check, you need to SIGN at the back of the check. If you dont do that, it will be returned. HSBC so far charges the most reasonable fee to clear US Check. I have been using them for a few years, no complain at all in their clearing. Go and have a look ... Did the bank say why it was returned ?
