Oh boy, I am so disappointed with this. In September, I had two cheques from TLA, one for USD347 and one for USD100 which is the referral fees.
The USD347 cheque was delayed and I did write a few emails with Text Links Ads but did not ask them to hold payments. According to TLA then, they will only re-issue new payments if they received a ‘return to sender’ checks. And they will charge me USD50 for each check.
Today, my hubby just got from our local bank these two cheques which were rejected by the USA banks, AFTER it has been processed. Meaning, I have to pay for the charges which is exorbitant, did not get to cash the two cheques and now, I am waiting for TLA to tell me if they are going to charge USD50 each and if they are going to pay me by PayPal.
Damn! So very the angry. With no one in particular ‘cos TLA billings department is awfully nice and efficient. From now on, I am going to do nothing but accept all payments by PayPal. It saves me the risk of cheques getting delayed in the mail etc. The only left is only Google Adsense which is a pain ‘cos their cheques take forever to arrive. I thought I had just collected one cheque last week and apparently, another one has just arrived. I think of holding payment to twice a month but nope, it is too risky too. Knowing Google, one can get account suspension and that will mean two months payment disappeared in thin air.

If you want to clear US Check, you need to SIGN at the back of the check. If you dont do that, it will be returned.
HSBC so far charges the most reasonable fee to clear US Check. I have been using them for a few years, no complain at all in their clearing.
Go and have a look …
