Phew…everything went smoothly.
1) Download WP 2.3
2) Backup my blog
3) Deactivate all plugins
4) Upload the new WordPress 2.3
5) Hold my breath
6) Turning blue
7) When the files are all ftp-ed, click on the plugin
8) The WordPress upgrade page appears
9) Hold my breath further while activating the basic plugins I need.
(there’s a notice if your plugin needs a newer version)
10) Blog and boast about it. I upgraded to WordPress 2.3 without any fatality.
