07May The good news and the bad news from Blogitive
First the good news - they are working on a system to pay bloggers daily.
Now, the bad news - they want us to sign up a PayPal Premium account. Doh.
And more bad news - they are behind on their payments
In case you missed it, this is the latest posting :
We are running a little behind on payment processing for the week. About 50% of payments have been made, and the remaining payments will be processed within the next 24 hours. These past couple of weeks have been the biggest weeks yet for amount of posts. We are working on a new payment system that would allow us to pay bloggers daily, but we will need to make some changes in the way we do things to accomplish this. Starting June 1st, we will require that all our bloggers upgrade to a Premium Paypal account. This is pretty simple to do, and there is no fee in upgrading. This will allow us to process payments much faster. The downside is that Paypal then charges you a fee of somewhere between 1.9% - 2.9%. Keep in mind that this money does not go to us, it’s a fee from Paypal. Hopefully everyone is on board with the change and likes the fact that payments should happen very quickly moving forward.
I don’t post much for Blogitive but it is a good program for newer bloggers. They pay a flat rate of USD5, which is not too attractive. And you need to have two filler posts in between each Blogitive. Which is a mind numbing thing.

Yep I saw this so I’m afraid I’ll have to look for other sources of paid posts to come! I don’t see why I have to pay paypal fees for my other payments other than Blogitive. I’m too lazy to have 2 paypal accounts :p

hmm.. gave up writing for blogitive soemtime ago after i got Blogsvertise. Now got Smorty and Bloggerwave. All easier than Blogitive.

They not only behind with payment, they also behind with support lah. I emailed them 3 times about not able to login(kept telling me my password wrong) and they never reply, and I have not been able to see what I missed lah.

Your article is helpful and interesting. I am lost in bloggerland at the moment trying to figure out who to write for, as some companies are better or not so good as others.
