This is just a little community message to TextLinkAds publishers that we need to upgrade the WordPress plugin to version 3.2.2 because the previous one version 3.1.0 were giving problems with the XML files.

I got an email notification from them that Text Link Ads cannot access my sites (not this site, this site does not run TLA). I upgraded the plugin and it works fine.

So, do login in to your Text Link Ads account and see if any of your sites is marked, “Package Inactive”. If it does, delete the old plugin if you are running WordPress and get a new download of the plugin and activate it. Check back a few hours or a few days later and see if the “Package Inactive” has been taken off. Otherwise, TLA may take your site off their accounts and you won’t earn a thing.

If you are a new blogger and has not heard of Text Link Ads, it is a method of making money with selling text links in your sidebar and also in your posts. However, lately, it is hard to get a site approved by TLA. Usually, they want high traffic and high ranking niche blogs. But you can always give it a try. Oh did I mention that like all make money methods, there are risks attached to it. *in whisper mode* Google doesn’t like to play nice with TLA, so we were told. But what the heck…a few of my blogs are still running TLA in the background.
