30Jun Sikit-sikit jadi bukit, pendapatan melalui blog
The above title means, a little bit, a little bit will end up as a hill. Sort of making a mountain out of mole hill. But this applies to saving bit by bit to become rich.
That’s the advice from NoorizamShah.com on his post about making money. He mentioned to his blog reader that I had made RM10K from Nuffnang.
Well, it is so true. I started making money by earning my USD three cents from Adsense just like everyone else. USD0.03. Most Adsense clicks in Malaysia pays only USD0.03. From that 0.03 (hehehe, sounds like some condom ad), I slowly make the first USD10. And when I hit USD100, I was banned by Adsense due to fradulent clicks. Until today, I do not know what caused it. We will never find out.
But I re-apply and start from 0.03 again. So, if you are just making 10 cents per day from your ad income now, take heart. Everyone starts from zero. Don’t dream big. Start from zero.
Ta ta! I am off to cash my Adsense income at CIMB now.

Wow, pretty elite over there. Myself earning from advertlets, nuffnang and etc. Not really earning, just some extra income. But yours became your major income, impressive. Good luck for online money making ya !

That’s so true Lilian. Since small, we were all taught to “berjimat-cermat” and that “sikit-sikit” will turn into “bukit”.
Well, income generated from internet is no difference.
Sadly, most wannabe internet marketer nowadays put in “sikit-sikit” effort but….expect it “cepat-cepat jadi gunung”.
Success does not happen overnight. it takes efforts, persistency, and action to make it happen.

I disagree - I think you have to think big, but also expect little steps to get there - not many people pick up a flute and play it - these masteries take time - perseverance is 9/10ths of the law.

yes..start from zero..don too bother about the money in the beginning..built up your content and manage it well..money will come in months (This is what lilian ahyi touch me ^^)

That’s great advice - we all had to start somewhere. About the Adsense under titles, I read that you can’t put it under the title if it refers to the ad e.g. If you have a title saying “Click Here” or “Useful sites to visit” or something worded in a way to encourage people to click the ad. If it is just about ad placement (e.g. the location of the ad is under the title of your post), it was said to be ok. Did you read about that too?

rajawang - Lucky mine is a bit more this month (June) than May. Not a lot more but still ok.
PB - The best place to update is through Google’s blog because they change their terms all the time and it is hard to catch up. They made it very clear on their blog posts (I lost my bookmark URL) on what we cannot do. So, it is entirely our responsibility to find out and keep updated. Actually, I also missed the post on not putting ads under our title until Bryan pointed out to me.
