Should you wait for PayPal or get a VMI card?

A lot of bloggers have been singing praises about VMI card while I am still sceptical about it. But considering the small fee, I think it is worth exploring.

So, if you ask me the above question, my answer to you is to WAIT just for a little while.

Because you may not have heard bloggers telling you these :

If you are using Virtual Money Debit Card to verify Paypal, I will ask you to be aware as Paypal handles each of their accounts depending on your history with them. Often, it is a successfully verification and transfer of money, however, there are times when Paypal might limit your account and then ask for a bank statement verification. Unfortunately, you will only be provided a Virtual Money online statement and not a Southwest bank statement which Paypal will require. Please proceed with caution.

You may try to verify Payal with Virtual Money Debit Card since Virtual Money Debit Card has its own US bank routing number and US bank account number. However, Paypal has been strict with it verification to any offshore bank accounts in Asia . You may try it, however, the success is not guaranteed. Virtual Money discourages the linkage between their Debit Card and Paypal, though it does work fine. Virtual Money continues to receive small deposits which verify new papal accounts and successfully transfers money from a Paypal account to a Virtual Money Debit Card. However, again I am not certain that it will work for you nor am I clear about the current Paypal verification process but you can try it. I am sorry I can not give you a more clear answer since we are not sure how Paypal runs its operation and changes its policy.

This is the hard fact. It comes from VMI themselves. So remember, proceed with caution. I think I will continue to rely on my friend to withdraw for me, albeit a lower exchange rate. But VMI card helps you to receive those payments that are piling up. So, if you have USD30 to spare plus USD3-25 for postage, wish to take risks, get mang-chang (impatient) easily, go ahead. And make sure that you can easily earn that USD33-55 within an hour. If not, wait.

To start – Visit http://mooncash.com, Google Virtual Money Inc., find out all you can before you proceed.

And if you wish a shorter road – email Millie(@)MoonCash.com and tell her ‘VMI card application’. Be ready to part with your money and the risk of getting your account frozen but you get to receive your payments. The choice is yours, the risk is yours. I am not responsible for anything. I am not recommending it but…..

So far, another would to trick the system to have an account and quickly delete it. Seems to work on my end here.

My account was limited before and I sent PayPal my Virtual Money International account statement to verify it. It went through without any problems. Just something I want to point out if anyone wants to go for VMI.

There will be the risk of your account being limited by PayPal though, but if you show them your documents there will be no problems.

Jase – It works for me but how many times can we do that? My money comes in everyday. I had tried it long before that post appeared. PayPal knew about it and I got an email. I think it is pretty naive for the blogger to post that kind of title because it sort of gives everyone (internationally) the image that we are all out to cheat PayPal. Real immature of him. That’s why only us Malaysians have this constant problem while even smaller countries have none.

Menj – Yeah, I knew about yr situation and that’s why I am still sceptical.

It is just a temporary solution for me to accept all my pending payments. I have my own difficulties to risk my account to use this method. It is because I have pending payments since last month and unluckily the day I add my credit card in Paypal ( so damn unlucky!!), this problem occur, if I don’t accept the payments, the money will be returned. That’s why I tried this method. And i admit that I shouldn’t write this kind of title.

My sister stays in the US so I ‘borrow’ her PayPal account to receive payment. Recently she just applied for and got approval for the PayPal Debit/ATM card. Should arrive within a week.

    Hi,

It does look risky to those unverified Paypal members, though 85% of the time works (I have this same warning from Millie too).

I think it is safe to use local credit cards to verify the Paypal account first. And then, add VMI card ‘s US bank account. Mine is verified account before this adding US bacnk account issue..;D
