23Jan ‘Sau Koong’ or wrapping up for the year
The year of the rat is coming to an end soon. Chinese will celebrate a new year on Monday, 26th January 2009. It is the year of the ox.
In tradition, Chinese businesses will wrapped up for the year in anticipation of the celebration. Sort of tying up loose ends, close shop for a few weeks, have a long break and return to work next year.
So, I am going to wrap up the Chinese year of the rat now because I am very, very busy preparing for Chinese New Year. I may post or may not.

The Chinese New Year season has been great for my food blogs, with Google Adsense spiking and banner ads paying well. So, I shall relax and stop working so hard for the time being.
Hopefully, the Ox year will fare better than the Rat year. Till I post my Chinese New Year wishes, everyone do enjoy the celebration. Take time to play and may the Ox brings lots of money online for all of us.

For someone who works from home, there is no clear line on when to start work and when is a holiday. Everyday can seem like a holiday and everyday can seem like a working day.!
May the Year of Ox brings joy, happiness and prosperity to you and your loyal readers!
