ReviewMe rocks! My first review done & approved

First of all, I must clarify that this blog does not contain any [tag]sponsored reviews[/tag] or [tag]pay-per-post[/tag] write-ups.  It is just a collection of stuffs I learnt from my other blogs.
I took a shot of expresso at 10pm (because I didn’t realise it was 10pm duh) and had a burst of caffeine-charged energy.  As I was about to log off my MSN and go to sleep around 3am, a mail came in from ReviewMe.

To cut a long story short, I got the assignment to do a sponsored review.  It is a website I can relate to.   So, I surfed around, check out the links, pages, information and whatever is available on the site.  It takes a while for me to understand  the site and how I can relate it to my readers.  I also read the fine prints to make sure there are no scams or any shady deals around.
It is important that bloggers always put the interest of their readers ahead of their own financial gains if they are going to write for paid posts.  Think if the products/services/websites will interest your own blog readers.  Even if it is just vaguely useful or related to your own blog, work hard to tie in what you are going to write to how it will interest your readers.  That way, no one can claim you sold your soul for mere dollars.

I am not good with maths and can’t work out the time between 5.9 hours and 5.4 hours.  It is like 50 minutes?  That’s how long I took to write the review.  I was given 48 hours to finish the review but hey, I want ReviewMe to look good on its first day of launching so I burnt a little midnight oil.  Of course, it is also to prove to ReviewMe that I am a fast and efficient ‘worker’ so I handed in my ‘assignment’ ASAP. (my review post here which I categorised under ReviewMe)
So, [tag]ReviewMe[/tag] delivers and [tag]ReviewMe pays[/tag].
