ReviewMe campaign is as good as dead

A few of my blogger friends told me that they had been experiencing some bugs in the ReviewMe system.  Many of them get redirected back to their own blogs after clicking the Accept button.  After several of them wrote to ReviewMe, they finally gave up because the reply wasn’t what they expected.

I never write for ReviewMe USD5 campaign because I believe in upholding the quality of my blogs.  I am normally paid between USD100 to USD40 per post, per blog for a 200 words review.  So, it is not professional for me to write the same number of words for USD5.

One of my blog buddy asked me to check if I am experiencing the same problem where I am redirected back to my own blog instead of the other panel.  So, I log on and notice that none of my blogs are qualified to any of the campaigns except my PR5/10.  I am very sure there is a bug because those blogs have the right category and have PR4/10 with good Technorati and Alexa ranking.

So, I wrote to ReviewMe and asked.  They insist that there is no bug but a filter system where advertisers get to choose.  Oh well, I am sorry but I think it is rather insulting to offer me USD5 for a 200 post on my PR5/10 blog.

I hope ReviewMe sort out this for the benefits of the advertisers and publishers.  Lately, I notice that all the paid post companies are willing to bend over and let the advertisers set the rules which are sometimes very ridiculous.  Some even went to the extend of smacking the bloggers eventhough they merely pay a miserable sum of USD5.    Remember, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.  I don’t mean this as an insult to all bloggers but I think we have to maintain a certain standard.

I think your selected arsenal of vocabulary demonstrates a deep desire to wound the target of your words. This could be more effective with proper punctuation, grammer, and spelling; Silly me! You get paid USD100 to USD40 per 200 words so you must all ready know this.

p.s. I probably wouldn’t have bothered, but your arrogance demanded a response.
