Ok, I have traffics from BloggersChoiceAward to check out why I deserve to be in the race with Perez Hilton for Most Obnoxious Blogger Award. So, I gotta live up to that name somewhat so that some peeps will at least VOTE ME!
Now, dear bloggers, my good friends and those who are new to blogging. Let me tell you something, as someone who eats more salt than you eat rice. So sue me, I am obnoxious, remember?
STAY AWAY FROM STUPID REVIEWS.
The kind which lure you with “Review my site and the winner will get a cheapskate stuff”. Because the bugger will get loads of free links but only give to one single person one single cheapskate stuff.
STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE OFFERING YOU RM50, RM100 or even RM200 FOR A REVIEW
They may claim – We have RM50,000 to give away. So, yeah, some suckers got suckered into it. Clapping hands and shouting, “momma! look, I got sweets from goldfish uncle!” But do we have proof that they really pay that RM50K? I know that ReviewMe did that when they launched and I got paid USD50, USD30 and USD25 for the review on ReviewMe. But ReviewMe is a huge corporation with TextLinkAds. A multi-million US dollars company and we can see their reach on the internet.
STAY AWAY FROM SHORT TERM GAIN
Stick to the safe and tried and tested ads programme if you wish to make money.
See? I don’t always write paid posts. ‘Cos blogging is about creating our personality online first, money come second. Blek!

(April 18, 2007 - 5:28 pm)LOL! I had wanted to write a Part II on my series on “Blog Reviewing Scams” which are quite prevalent nowadays (and can be seen on PPS). All these contest of getting some money or gift for writing the best review is just a scam to entice people to link to them through their posts so that they can get leverage through ranking and publicity.
Moreover, it is cheaper for these people to have links through these scams (or cheap deals) than having to pay PayPerPost or other paid posts programme by offering RM or gifts for a potential unlimited number of reviews done.
Hm…looks like your obnoxiousness and rantingness is catching on me… :P

Thanks for the advice. You are really a straightforward person. No wonder you are considered Dai Jie Dai (big sister big) among the Malaysian bloggers.
