* Updated Note :  I spoke to Al Rajhi’s staff Alex on their toll-free number  on 24th October 2007 and they explained that they have problems with PayPal regarding the three digit numbers at the back of the card.  I got annoyed and emailed to Al Rajhi at customersupport@alrajhi.com.my and demanded someone to give me in black and white when they can solve this issue.  So far no news yet.  So, NO, you cannot withdraw PayPal with Visa Debit Card eventhough two of their staffs said it can be done.  Ptui!  Please email to Al Rahji and annoy  the hell out of them please.*

I have made two withdrawals from my PayPal account so far. I started with small amounts of USD105 twice.

The first one was on 11th October and the second one 15th October 2007.

Today is 24th October and I still haven’t receive the amount in my Al Rajhi’s account. I have internet banking where I can check online if the money is received.

Feeling a bit impatient, I called up their toll free number at 1 300 82 6000 and the girl at the other end assured me that they have done a few of such transactions from PayPal and it normally takes 7 days for PayPal to send the money to Al Rajhi. Considering that we had a long stretch of Hari Raya holidays, I guess the money should come in any day now.

Meanwhile, I have more money in PayPal and I am going to use my regular method of cashing them. With my ‘regular’ method, I can cash out over USD1K with no problem. Note that you can only withdraw a maximum limit of USD500 per day from your PayPal account.

Has anyone else received the money withdrawn from PayPal to Al Rajhi bank yet?
