Segmentation may be good for advertisers but sometimes they may inadvertently close off good quality writing that way just because the blogger is on another part of the world. It shouldn't matter as far as the internet is concerned because its search engine reach which is more important. I prefer it if they rate the bloggers as what you once suggested I think. That way all bloggers would have to work harder to improve the quality of their reviews.

To add to Samm's comment. The only thing about LL pricing the blogs differently is that I end up writing the reviews on the higher paying blogs instead because it seems like wasted effort to write the same thing and get paid 50% lower on another blog.

We can have full control if host our own and we can decide what type of ads to put in.

I use to host my website via some free hosting in year 1999-2002 range. Some policy changes with the company, I lost the site.

After that, smart liau , I go for own domain name pay for the hosting.

Do you know when you sign up with a hosting company, you need to make sure that their IP is not blacklisted ? If they are blacklisted, say bye bye to Search Engine and you will not be indexed !

See lah how it goes. Like LL, they hv difren rates for difren pr. That makes us want to work harder to put up better post. If i were to be an advertiser, i'd like it this way. So, it's still a win-win thing. But not for many, i guess.

About time we have this segmentation thing anyway. All my blogs are on their own host. It would be good if the opps are catered for these.
