PayPerPost surge of opps – Did you grab any?

I made a mistake of drinking a tall glass of iced-coffee at almost 10 pm last night. Well, not exactly a mistake but I have these platter of cakes to eat and cakes MUST have coffee.

And I couldn’t sleep till 5 am this morning! Well, you can say it is perfect timing because last night (or maybe morning in the USA), PayPerPost announced they are having a lot of opps. There are lots of opps alright. But they are all in GRAY. GRAY. GRAY. GRAY. Even when I refresh every 10 seconds (because my browser hangs if I do it every five seconds).

Oh well, I should not complain because I did managed about RM410 or USD120. But I am still way behind in hitting my usual target. I normally get about USD1,500 from PayPerPost per month but I am only hovering at USD715 now. There are only 10 days to go. Some of the reasons are :

1) Summer holidays mean less opps, advertisers gotta play too, you know?

2) PayPerPost Direct effect. I haven’t get any offer so far. Maybe I am putting a too-high quote but I am only quoting what advertisers have to pay through ReviewMe and SponsoredReviews, LinkWorth for per paid posts. I see some posties are only quoting 1/3 of my USD128 per paid post.

3) I got tired of chasing opps and spent my nights chatting instead.

4) I am exploring other avenues like in link text ads and learning how to manoeuvre a right balance of banner ads, paid posts, in link text, contextual ads and other ads revenue. Once I get more expert, I shall share with readers.

Anyway, I didn’t eat all three cakes. Only a mouthful of each. Plus one tall latte.

One more bite : I subscribed to many blogs now and you know what I learn? There are so many things people have said or written before. So it is hard to find something unique that no one has mention. Therefore, be creative, write something refreshing and not copy or paste.

I signed up for PPP advertisers just to look at it, but didnt put any money. So PPP was concerned, gave me $100 to try. I was informed via email. I think that’s one of the reasons there’s a surge of opps.

I didn’t get too many high paying ones, but wow did they flood us with new opps! Have you seen the news from PPP today? They are limiting us to 2 opps per day, per post now. Back to where it was before. I was wondering what you thought about that?
