Wayne Liew pointed out to me Malaysians’ PayPal Dream Comes True and he heard it from Sweet Surrender Malaysians Can Withdraw Paypal Now! – Debit Card Version.
I immediately tried it with my UOB Mastercard but got a message that the card issuer bank (i.e. UOB) doesn’t allow it. Anyway, I have no intention of transferring my money to the credit card because LOL, that’s MY money. Credit cards are meant for me to spend and paid by the husband, doh!
So, I heard that Sweet Surrender managed to withdraw to a debit card :
We tested it with Jimmy’s Alrajhi Bank debit card that he got from applying for their current account. For the time being, we will test with debit card, when this transaction is completed and make sure that we got our money, we will test it with credit card.
Now, I wonder…..
Can I find a local bank which issues me a debit card and I just sit back and keep withdrawing to that bank? I have no intention of using my PayPal money so my current ‘arrangements’ suits me well. Just keep stuffing the money in my bank. I have an account with CIMB and will ask them more about this when I get down to open another FD. :)
Anyone with more information, please share!

(September 29, 2007 - 6:26 pm)If there is the best debit card, I would say Public Bank Electron but I don’t know whether it works with PayPal or not. I hope it does, anyway, hope Malaysians can make money easily and happily through blogging.

Don’t withdraw to credit card because bank will charge you for advance money withdrawal from ATM using credit card even though the money is actually debited from PayPal.
Anyway, I like this :-
