I picked this up from Hong Kiat Technology/Me blog this morning and went over to check it out myself on nuffnang‘s blog. Well, this looks like an exciting money making chance from nuffnang that brought us these local banner ads.
Let me pick up some of the things I read from nuffnang and comment it here:
Starting from this Sunday just about every blog in the [tag]Nuffnang[/tag] Community will be served a paid ad.
Well, I finally can see more ads on my blogs. Since I have several blogs, some of them are not served ads yet. I know my son was very excited when he saw MPH ads on his skateboarding blog. So, if you haven’t put nuffnang’s little blue banner yet, you better hurry up and grab the code and put it up in a prominent location.
We will also be rolling out our first Cost Per Click campaigns where bloggers will be paid anywhere from RM0.50-RM5 per click, depending on the advertiser.
Now, this is hot news! Woot! Our very own adsense! Cost Per Click means you earn money when someone clicks on the link. 50 cents is a lot of money, considering that I do get USD1 CENT click on Google Adsense. So, let’s see how this turns out. I hope this is not against Google Adsense? If it is, then, I will need to experiment and see which makes more money. Ahh…never mind, I have so many blogs to play with.
Also expect to see a number of Cost Per Action schemes on our network in time to come. As with the rest of the campaigns we run, our advertisers pay only for unique visitors originating from Malaysian IP addresses and clicks but the Cost Per Action scheme will be independent of the country’s unique visitors.
Cost Per Action means someone sign up for something, or purchase something. Yet another interesting feature. Usually CPA pays well.
Along with a panel of Nuffnangers, we’re already finalizing the works of a blogger event to be held up in Penang by the end of June.
I have got the buzz that we are going to have a bloggers gathering at some posh restaurant with beautiful views and classy ambience. I am not telling where and when yet but do keep a lookout for the announcement. I am so excited already….20+ days more. Weekend. *hint, hint*
So, are you part of the nuffnang community yet? If you haven’t sign up yet, you better hurry.

(June 1, 2007 - 2:42 pm)I havent put up the blue banner yet. It’s too big and slows down my site too much to my liking.
BTW, your site is fast becoming like a brochure instead of a blog. And it stinks like money too! :)

(June 1, 2007 - 2:49 pm)headwind – Money smells good to me. If you put the nuffnang at the sidebar, the content will loads first so it is not that big of a problem, considering the money it brings to me.
mott – Yeah, me too. But then, I am a publisher so no worries.
Kenny – Hahaha, how did you get that amount? I believe the lowest payout per week is 1+ ringgit cos one of my site with band 1 has that too.
