I have been experiencing a lot of problems lately. But this one takes the cake. My personal blog changes theme on its own! A while ago, it went back to the default two-column Kubrick’s theme on its own. I was alerted to it by two persons on MSN.
I have also noticed :
1) Each time I make a post, the WP auto-save will cause multiple posts saved on the dashboard. I.e. if I take a long time to complete writing a post, I will get three drafts instead one.
2) My sidebar widgets on several blogs disappeared. If I put it back, it will again go back to the bottom column, leaving my sidebars empty.
3) The problem only lies with certain blog template (this is is stable though)
I have huge CPU overloaded problems and had to change host to a VPS now. Even with the VPS, I am still using over 300 RAM. To rectify the matter, I disabled many plugins, change back to my old templates which are non-widgetized and hope to use less resources.
All these problems started cropping up after I changed several templates and added some plugins. So, I do wonder if the WP 2.2 with the auto save and widgets are the problems?

(June 13, 2007 - 7:28 pm)I had some problems on my http://www.andrewooi.com where the redirects you talked about (from HongKiat) caused funny behaviour. I couldn’t upload pictures and certain pages kept redirecting over and over again causing huge cpu usage. I turned off the redirects in the .htaccess file and everything went back to normal. Probably not the same problems as yours but just to let you know ..

(June 13, 2007 - 11:07 pm)weirdoux – I also cannot recall because this problem started from the blogs hosted on another server. Then, we moved over to this new server and again, the problem of overloaded on the RAM happens as well.

andrew – This problem started from another blog hosted on another server but I am going to change the hta access again, if I need to.
kenny – I had deactivated many of the plugins and funny thing is the problem comes from the blog that I don’t have much plugins.

ahpek – I already moved home from you, now I stay alone in one bungalow call VPS. Pay big money for it oso. I got 500 error when I posted on your blog today. You know hor…mine also started like that. From 500 error then, wp errors then kena suspended liao. You watch out, jeng jeng jeng..you are next. Hehehe.
weirdoux – the latest WP 2.2 Getz. But I notice it keeps autosave. I am looking at way to stop the auto save function and see how it goes.

before that i had a cron issue…
try to increase your cron like to maybe 1 hour or 2 hours.

Again, hope somehow something will be corrected.
I really wonder now..is it WP2.2? I have yet to upgrade to that.
