You know what they say. If you want to do something, do it well. Learn from the experts. So, that’s what I am going to do. But first of all, I must find some experts to learn from. Who are the lucky or unlucky ones?
Well, none other than the two Johns! I start with comparing traffic. Initially, I thought I couldn’t fit into the picture. As you know, if your traffic is way below and you compare your site with some A-list blogger, you won’t fit into the graph because you are really wayyyyy below.
However, this graph doesn’t look too bad, huh? If I eat more grass, I will grow taller.
Next, I compare income. On July 1st, John Chow revealed his income for June 2007. He earned USD12K.
I have never openly declared my income. Since all A-list bloggers do that, I think I am going to start now. Because the idea is – If you prove your ideas are working, more people will believe you. If you don’t earn a cent yet, who will bother to listen?
The below are just estimates. In USD for July 2007.

Other unmentionable paid post companies : +/- $200 (unmentionable because they don’t give me referral fees hehehe)

Google AdSense: (John Chow made $778.90 in June and I say….hey, that’s so little! Therefore you need to guess mine because I won’t reveal mine.)

I leave you with these wise words I took from JohnCow. Read it, remember it and dwell on it.
Remember while you should respect other people’s opinions and hard work, you don’t have to appreciate them or agree with it. Instead of flaming, use that energy in a positive way so you can grow and reach a level where you won’t feel envy anymore.
Another thing you should think about is how others will look at you and your envious attitude; ‘What a loser, he’s just jealous of success. Can’t do it himself’. This isn’t what you want because those opinions will make you even more jealous since it seems everyone is teaming up against you. A vicious circle.
You know what? I can claim to make the same amount of money as John Chow, in my own currency. :P
