I want to be John Chow on #1 page at Google

If you are slightly informed, in which case you should because if you are blogging for money, you will have heard that John Chow’s site was taken off [tag]Google Index[/tag].

Well, I know many of the clueless will be wondering what is Google Index. So, let me tell you what is the first thing you should do when you finally signed up for a blog with your own URL. You must submit it to all the major search engines. How to do it? I will tell you next time. Because I have blogged about it before so if you didn’t pay attention and missed that part, too bad.

Anyway, being taken out of Google Index is equivalent to being Burned like the spies record. Or being terminated like how Arnold Schwarzenegger do it in Terminator. Or to put it simply, you are dead as far as the search engines are concerned. It is also like being sent to sit in a corner when you were in kindie. You cannot be found anymore.

And that means….traffic plummeted. Advertisers abandon you. Income suffers. Readers losing interest. And those cult followers suddenly lose their directions! They will probably go and find another cult leader to believe in until they find their own souls. Hehehe. :P

But then, hey, all the big ones got it at some point in their blogging lives. [tag]LiewCF[/tag] got it before. [tag]Kennysia[/tag] too. What did they do that caused them being taken off Google Index? Go ask John Chow! How not to get taken off Google Index? Don’t do what [tag]John Chow[/tag] did. Is it the end of the world? Nay….Google is the nice headmistress who will take you off the corner when you start behaving again.

actually, you do not need to submit website to search engines nowadays. you only need to get links from other indexed sites. It is much faster than url submit.
