Since the launch of [tag]SponsoredReview.com[/tag] a few days ago, I had taken up five writing assignments from SponsoredReviews.com. This include one review of SponsoredReview.com which asked for 400 words. But you know what? I actually wrote a 1,000 words post and probably edited it to 800 words in the end. You can read about it on my personal blog at 5xmom, the title of the post “SponsoredReviews.com – The next big wave”.
Do also read my blog buddy, AhPek‘s piece about SponsoredReview.com –
Sponsored Reviews is a sure fire way to make money from your blog.
Before I go on, I must praise AhPek for his frank opinions. He said :
I think I said sometime before that there have quite a number of blogs popping up recently that professes that they can help you make lots of money with your blogs. Maybe they are novices who have read too many of those “make money blogging†advertisements or maybe they are some really smart asses out to fool the novices into clicking their affiliate links, I really don’t know. What I do know is, the sure fire way of making money from your blog is writing paid reviews, especially if you have niche blogs that have a good page rank. It’s almost guaranteed income with no extra expenses other than your time and a little bit of brain juice.
Both AhPek and I are above 40 years old. We don’t blog for the money but rather the money just happen to be there when we blog. So, I dare to say that if you get any [tag]Make Money[/tag] stuffs from us, it is our real passions to share with others how to gain. In other words, what we say are things that work. No hidden intentions.
Anyway, back to the title. I am terribly pleased that for the first time, I have an email from SponsoredReview.com that an advertiser wishes me to review their site and offers USD50 per piece! I was over the moon, not because of the money but rather the fact that they choose my blog. It is sort of ego boosting that someone came by and like what I write on my blog and offers me the job. I shall not reveal which blog or which post because it is not nice to tell others how much I get paid by which company, right?
So, folks, keep coming up with a good blog and soon, I hope advertisers will be swarming and chasing us for reviews. Remember you need to balance things – remain a blogger with a good social skills and not just hide behind the PC and keep churning out paid posts. No blogger is an island. You do not want to wake up one day from those money making solitude and find that no one cares about you as a blogger anymore. Advertisers do look at our comments too, you know? If you have a blog with absolutely no comments, something is very fishy, isn’t it?
