He paid close to 10,000 for it. Now he is using lenovo brand laptop, cost just over RM2000. So far so good. Even if it died after a year, still much much better than SONY. HP brand also sucks. I am computer novice... no idea bout the specs etc... SONY camera also sucks.... ah.. everything about SONY sucks. Even their service center is good to nowhere. Happy CNY. So far so good, the built quality is improved compare to older model (my brother owned it). Only one complain is keyboard typing little bit harder compare to my old Toshiba's laptop and screen is shaking while typing (solved by inserting piece or paper under foot pads, ensure flat positioning on table). Vista suppose no problem if you install some free software to maintain it such as CCleaner (registries cleaner), Spy & Destroy (spyware cleaner), AVG (antivirus) and Comodo (firewall). How are they going to make money if all goods are 'over engineered'? like the sewing machine, Singer went kaput coz their sewing machine can be passed down from one generation to another.
