How we got our Google Pagerank back

A few days ago, my webmaster told me he got back his PR 5/10 within five days after he submitted to Google Webmaster Central for reconsideration. He only did a few paid posts and he was penalized with PR 0/10 too.

Someone else also gained back his PR 2/10. Adino decided to take the route of no more paid posts and asked for reconsideration and got his PR back in one week’s time. Well, to be frank, when you have PR 0/10 all the other paid post companies do not want you either. So, you have very little option left except to apply for reconsideration.

Yesterday someone asked me :

can u advice me what shall i do ah??
i only have 1 REAL blog….the other blogs i have are less -than-10 post-lazy blog….
sooooo how la…..should i just quit ppp and remove TLA to try n get back my PR??
Or…..should i slowly build my other blog like my (URL remove to protect privacy) into a PR worthy blog???
sigh…….i dont know what to do lo…….little piece or advice please TQVM!

I know this blogger for a couple of years already and her main blog is a good blog. I guess if you can afford to forego the money, then, do clean it up and gain your PR back.

As for the others, keep using them as your cash cow I suppose. I cannot clean up the rest of my blogs because I have committed to too many paid posts and many of them have this ‘permanent’ agreement. Hence, I cannot just delete those posts. On the other hand, I already do not have enough time to build new ones so I am happy as it is. I have some blogs with good PR and some blogs with no PR which I can abuse.

If you think you have the energy and time and wish to build PR worthy blogs, then, do go ahead. Google gives out PR every 3-4 months so hopefully you get them. Then again, after you get your PR, you may get bitch slap again if you write paid posts. LOL. It is a never ending cycle.

And to those morons who keep insisting that being bitch slap is no big deal, it is. I got lower payout in Adsense click, I got lower SERP (search result position) and less traffic. And it suxs having no green juice.

    hey thanks for answering lilian…;)
since i have nothing left to write for ppp…i have no problem to quit that…TLA is quite a problem…

im trying to build more contents for my fashionasiashops.blogspot.com so that i can get some sort of PR from there in a couple months time. Hopefully it works…

otherwise i will just throw both hands in the air and just go back to the old blogging for FUN!!

fashionasia – I left TLA out in the cold. I also left LinkWorth in the same manner. I went cold turkey, forfeited over USD600 per month and chop off everything. LOL. It is a painful move so only attempt if the money doesn’t matter.

Thanks for your advice. At first I was skeptical if it would work, but seeing you get back your Google PR convinced me to take the leap.

I didn’t do anything, and got a ranking of 3 instead of 4 previously. 3 is already good for me…

It is true what you say Lillian. After my pr dropped from 4 to 0, my ad offers have dropped or disappeared. :) Blog and web reality has set in :(

PR is everything. With PR 0 – adsense has also dropped. So you could say I am blogging for fun but not by choice haha. Guess I will keep writing until I can write no more or search engines totally drop me.

There is something wrong with your analysis about Pagerank … yes, it matters the advertisers, at least for PPP and some others. BUT how can you have a high PR and still blog for PPP? Isn’t it against Google rules? THe minute you start blogging for PPP, your rank should drop to ‘0’ so how can you make money?

No one really knows whats involved in the page rank up and down. Just a lot of people guessing … think about it, it doesn’t make any sense!

[…] policies? If you clear all those, you can submit your site for reinclusion. Read how I got my Google pagerank back. It works almost the same […]
