How does Microsoft buys Yahoo affects us, the nobodies?

Melvin pointed out this news to me about Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo for $44.6 billion. I was like OH WOW, no shit! How does it affects me? I got no share in it, no business in it.

But hey, that will probably becomes the most powerful search engines? The kind that is less reprimanding than Google? Right now, we have three main ones and when two are merged, it will be the bigger presence than grandma.

However, I wonder why Yahoo Publisher has yet to hit our shore? What have they got against us, the rest of the world, huh? You can catch all the big news about Microsoft buys Yahoo on CNN, Reuters and etc so I don’t need to provide you the link.

Let’s see how this deal develops and hope it spells the end of my paranoia with Grandma Google. I want to wake up in the morning without worries of ‘oh no, I got smack by Google, again!’

If this deal goes through, it will certainly make Microsoft a bigger player, not only in the search arena, but also a bigger presence on all of the internet.
This is no doubt an attempt by Microsoft to compete with Google. However I believe that even if this deal does go through, that Google will still maintain a lead in the global search market for the indefinite near future. The “Google” name is synonymous with “search” that people use it as a verb (Such as…. Why don’t you google that?).

the thing that bothers me is if Google slap for buying and selling links, why JohnChow.com is still pr4 even though he is using textlinkads?

Anyway, hopefully, let see what Microyahoo will bring to the world wide web

There’s a Malay saying “Gajah sama gajah berjuang, pelanduk mati di tengah-tengah” meaning to say when elephants fight, the tiny deer is the victim.

Well, whether or not Microsoft succeeds in buying Yahoo remains to be seen. Consider the other option: Google buying Yahoo…so what have you, Googoo, Googloo, Yahoogle?
