I have 12 blogs that serve Nuffnang ads. For some blogs, I get ads every week. For others, I hardly get any ads. I never bothered because I know some of these blogs have really low traffic and has no brand name to it.

However, there are one or two blogs that earn me very good income from other sources and at the same time, the blogs can be considered very ‘hot’ as they pwns in many important keywords.

I thought that the advertisers just hate me. Or Nuffnang never notice my blogs. Or I did not carry enough balls. Or advertisers cannot afford to pay. For example, my Best Recipe blog has very high traffic (in the band of almost 20 which can fetch very high price per week) and whatever restaurant I featured always appeared on the search results. Yet, I hardly get ads.

And the answer is here. The geolocation is not in favour because the traffic from Malaysia is only 30%. Not that I am complaining because I get good income from other sources.

My digital photo blog needs a little bit of attention because the traffic seems kind of weird. 33% all over?

womenonly_nn_analytics

Meanwhile, this Women Only blog gets fantastic USA traffic which translates to good Widgetbucks and other affiliate incomes, don’t they?

So, next time before you say Nuffnang sucks for not giving you ads, please find out if it is because you have a higher percentage of overseas visitors. You can find all these revealing numbers from your Nuffnang Analytics. I love to analyse my site traffic from there because the graphs are so much easier to see than Google analytics.

Of course, I am not complaining of no ads because I have spread out my blog monetization methods well and either way, it benefits me.

If you have not sign up with Nuffnang, do it just for the sake of getting these analytics. It helps us in finding what’s working for our blog. The keywords, where the traffic comes from and how many visitors we have.

And eh, time to ditch Advertlets already lah! Why stick with a company that gives more headaches than anything else? Remember how many bloggers were accused openly by the owner that they cheated? Remember how your blogs were redirected to spam site? Aren’t these enough reasons?
