Happy Thanksgiving

I have watched enough TV series, cowboys shows, movies and comedies to vaguely know that Americans celebrate Thanksgiving by eating turkey. I also vaguely know that they celebrate it because they were from (England?) and sailed to the North American continent safely, settled down and have bountiful foods?

Anyway, this is what Thanksgiving is according to Wiki :

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a traditional North American holiday to give thanks, traditionally to God, for the things that one has at the conclusion of the harvest season. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada.

Roast turkey

So, to take myself away from blogging boring stuffs, here’s a photo of the turkey I roasted for Christmas 2006. Over here, we relate turkey to Christmas. But poor turkeys in the US got slaughtered during Thanksgiving and Christmas. LOL.
