Don’t embarrass yourself by going to all my Pagerank 4/10 blogs and ask for link exchange. I do not know you, dude. Why should I care if you exist?
Link exchange request is so yesterday.
Now, if you want crazy number of backlinks, you go get some grayhat seo tool and get shit loads of backlinks within minutes. But wait for Google to find out and kill you.
Or you can just take a keen and sincere interest in others’ blogs and build networks.
So, save yourself the time of posting comments and asking for link exchanges. It just show how naive you are. Grow. Up.

I think to make a clear statement you should create a policy section on your sidebar – just include in the policy that you don’t do link exchange. sometime new blogger trying to hard to get a linkback from high profile blogger. much better you if you can create a banner that say “I DON’T DO LINK EXCHANGE”.
I also received link exchange request but I never entertain it. Why – because I never ask other to link me back.
The rule of thumb to new blogger – keep on blogging as usual, entertain other and for sure you will get a nice linkback.

zen is right. if you’ve just come across this blog for the first time, you wouldn’t know that it’s a policy here. so rather than being rude and embarassing new visitors, maybe you have to think also of a way to make your policy more clear and visible. i thought this is a friendly blog just like the others i visit. successful bloggers need not be so arrogant. more successful people are humble enough to share their knowledge with other people.

bb community – Yeah, I have it all over. But normally these people are blind and they don’t have time to read because they are only interested in their own mission of shitting as many comments per day as possible on every blogs to get links. I am doing a favour by telling them it doesn’t work but some people are just oh, sensitive. Sensitive people like these should just stick to writing personal diary. Hahaha.

i’m one of those people who asking around for link exchange. i’m sorry if anyone feel offended just because i ask for it. lilian your blog is well established and so you don’t need to ask for links but as for me, i don’t know anyone in blogging community and it’s too hard to survive without any contact. teach me how to get traffic like did and then for sure other bloggers won’t ask for link anymore.

I won’t beg for a link exchange with you.
But I know how difficult it is for newbie to exposure their blog. I was there. As an established blogger, you can now brag that you don’t need any backlink for anybody. Fine. That’s your right.
However, if some newbie ask for link exchange with me, I won’t reject them outright because I do give consideration and for those newbie blogger with potential, yes, I will agree for an exchange. Someone need to help them.

Personally, I don’t really do link exchange. In the long run, you could not possibly get enough links to be of enough worth to your blog or website.

So if you want to link exchange 15 thousand times (the amount of link backs 5xmom gets) then go ahead. But you’d be better off using that time to build great content and do some SEO.
