Google pagerank December update is here! Whoopee! I thought I am seeing things but my blogs which have been getting PR 0/10 for the longest time have gotten back their pageranks.
Just to be sure, I check with some of the check pagerank website and true enough, I have PR 3/10 for one blog and PR 2/10 for another.
You can say visible pageranks are not important. It is important to me because advertisers pay me different prices for different pageranks. If I don’t have a pagerank, I won’t even qualify to get their advertisements.
So, that’s why I value pageranks so much because they means $$$. The green juice denotes greenbacks.
Yay! I got my pagerank *do happy dance*.
*prays and keep fingers and toes cross that I don’t lose more pagerank than I earn*

I have not noticed any changes on my sites yet. I checked Digital Point forum too, usually there will be super-excited people wanting to inform people regarding PR update but so far no buzz from there yet.
If there is an update right now, wish you all the best (that all the PR you saw are true) and hope I will get 1-2 good PR myself :)
But then, what kind of advertisers were you referring to? I mean which company? TLA, or others?

Think you got back your pagerank before December. I noticed your PR3 last month already. Was envying it. LOL.
I still stuck at PR2 leh. Drop very easy, climb up so difficult hor? What to do…we are at the whims and fancies of the big brother. Hehe.

I don’t see any change in the Page Rank for what so ever reasons. When did they start updating?

I haven’t noticed anything except today there was a decently big shift in ranking positions within my niche since this afternoon.

I am just wondering why the most usual page rank is just 2 and 3. I seldom see PR5 and haven’t seen PR8 up to 10 yet. Do these websites with PR5 and up earn more than those with PR2 and 3?

forbrugslaan – it’s really difficult to guess how pr is calculated…i have seen a pr5 site which i found it unbelievable because the guy was just writing paid posts…there was no theme on his blog at all…could it be because he blogs 200 posts a month? hmm…

Well one of my websites is a PR5 and it only has around 40 pages. I believe it’s because it has unique content and it’s very educational.

SEO Tips – I submitted that blog to Google for reconsideration many months ago and I think they finally reinstate my PR. The PR is even shown on PayPerPost panel ‘cos that blog has tracking code (but I do not do anymore PPP), so yeah, it is confirmed. The internal PR also returned.

Well, I went from pr5 to pr3 on my homepage, and from 1..3 on inner pages to a round zero…
I conclude that Google finally got at the links exchange business…

No PR updates in California. You probably got nailed by the spam team, since it looks like you may sell links or something.

You shouldn’t shout out too loud that you sell links on your page if they are not provided by google – we did and our PR dropped from a stable PR6 to a worthless PR3.

yes I notice that there was Google pager rank update this December. My page rank moves too. After being Big 0 page rank for too long time, this December bring me page rank 1.

I have seen a drop of one PR to one on my clients website. It drops from 6 to 5.
Does any one else is seeing in PR update

hi, Yes i have seen a PR increase in few of my projects. One is a Civil Engineering website and another is a health insurance company in India. The new pages i have added in last week of november got PR 0 within 8 days as check a week ago. This shows some PR update is in progress

we have seen a page increase from pr0 to PR1 and another website which have been created under 3 weeks ago have already come up with a PR 0.

I have not yet seen any PR changes. It is wondering that most of them have got PR changes. I am expecting Google will update PR on 26th Dec 2008.

Although I haven’t seen any PR changes on my site, I have read about it happening on several forums. The one change which I saw was my my backlinks number has changed.

but my google backlinks have reduced. Not sure why ??
