Google is the friggin sugar daddy for spammers

I have enough. Do you know that this site of mine was so badly penalised by Google that on certain days, my Adsense get zero income when I usually get about USD15? Can you imagine over 300 pages impression and I get zero click when usually my CTR is rather good? Usually, this site is on the top of my blog income but guess what? Even my blogspot blog earns more Adsense. Go figure!

So, it shows Google is damn manipulative. They hit me because I support their competitors like selling text links and doing paid posts. But look, this site is still a damn good site.

But that’s fine with me because what’s USD15 x 30 days to me? I will not play by Google’s rules and will continue to sell text links and whatever good money thrown my way.

What pissed me off are stupid blog aggregators that scrape any farking keywords and use it on their sites. I am sure all of you are familiar with stupid sites like “Lilian wrote a good post about (enter title) and (part of my contents)” or something inane like “Brian said this but I do not agree on (enter our blog title) and (the contents)”.

There are thousands and millions of such site and they are all surviving because of Sugar Daddy Google.

google_spammer1

Here are two sites, with different URLs with shitloads of Google Adsense.

google_spammer

And another one. The two sites have different URLs but same template.

Then, there are those who plagiarized our contents….Even if they put a link back to us, it is still stealing contents.

Try reporting to Google and all we get are wordy-wordy emails telling us to do all the necessary steps. I had tried and I am pissed. Google won’t hit these sites because they support and kiss only Google’s arse. However, Google will hit any sites, no matter how good the sites are simply because we monetize our sites with other companies. If Google is more selective, such spammy aggregators will not bother to spawn.

So, yeah, Google is the sugar daddy to all those spammers. If you are an advertiser, will you waste your money on spammy sites like what I have shown above?

Will someone please StumbleUpon and do whatever to pass this rant around? I am super cheesed off with Google because they do not do what they preach. They want to help clean the WWW? How about being more selective on who their publishers are? You are cheating advertisers’ monies by placing so many of their ads on one spammy site, man.

I can understand your popular blog being the victim of splogs but I have a blog that is less than 3 months old and it too got its content “stolen”. The funny thing was that that particular post was a paid post! Still I am not happy that there are so many splogs polluting blogosphere. There is a site called Splog Reporter at http://www.splogreporter.com/ that is trying to do something about eliminating splogs.

Why should they be selective about the publishers? Google is in it for the money. And so everyone else should be. If someone is trying to monetize his blog, then he should do it properly.

You can’t change the system, adopt to it. It’s an open market. Take down Google’s Ads and try with something different. Simple as that.

Google sucks, especially since they don’t like paid links. Here read my post about what happened to me. It’s ridiculous that Google thinks they run the net.

It’s because the spammers understand the rule, they know how to go through the loophole and get what they want.

Personally, I don’t think Google is doing wrong, they just want to make sure their users getting the best search results, so she need to do something on links that manipulate the search engine to maintain the search quality.

This is a seesaw game between search engine and blogger/webmaster, we cannot say which side is doing wrong, we can just do our best under the limitation or drop Google from anywhere.

Having lots of ads does not make something a spam blog.

Keep in my mind that this site has tons of ads at the top.

I also got affected but what to do..now happy to get past the $10 mark a day..usually $20-$40.

no wonder the chow, problogger, shoe all drop G ads from their blogs. But that is only if you can supplement your income from other source e.g paid post, direct sponsors etc.
