Why can we sell text link ads? Some say text link ads is good to us to get back link.

I couldn’t agree more. Pagerank is the most important factor in building organic traffic. With a high page rank you get traffic, with a low PR you don’t.

My technorati authority is increasing but my PR doesn’t increase at all. Is it because of text-link-ads? Hmm…

I Dont think google is human at all in my eys it works like that

pr building- links comming in: gov and edu’s will bounce your page rank Dmoz and yahoo directory links are also good and also links form social networks . thats the algorithem .
and also links that are similar to what your blog/site doing
linking out to wikipedia is like sucking up to google it also works :)

Pr bashing : to much links from the index page or any other page
is bad the ideal is not to link at all or ref nofolowing the links
also links that is not in your category or not in the context

i also believe that is a human eyes involved once in a while
but its a speculation

I really don’t see the point obsessing over Google’s PR. A lot of people, even those who never done any paid post, got slapped and lost their PR. This goes to show that Google’s going after paid posts/links just the way they do it with Spam in general and it’s not far off…
Although I don’t think much of Michael Arrington and the likes who are out to bash paid bloggers, I can see why they launched a tirade against paid blogging and Google seems to agree.
I think the real issue is the massive amount of blogs purely generated to make money. Everybody wants to earn on the Internet and let’s be honest, most of the PPP bloggers don’t give a damn.
I’ve seen countless of people with multiple blogs, which contained the same theme, the same content more or less and a few personal sentences slotted in between paid posts.
Because of those “personal content” they get approved to the marketplace… zero quality, just a big waste of bandwith and I suppose you could class them as spammers. The funny thing is, they usually end up with quite a good PR by linking to each other.
I think most of PPP’s rules don’t really apply. They encourage bloggers to only take posts that are within their niche. Hell, I’ve seen stay at home mommy blogs which supposedly focus on their kids, posting about how good Viagra is or some online Poker site. The fact that they are making most of the money is just not fair to bloggers who deliver quality content.
So, can you really blame Google?
Blog about the things you love? Hardly. PayPerPost has been struggling since the PR drop and will continue to do so until it completely dies down.
Anyone looking to make some fast cash on the Internet should look else where. I think people who say that paid blogging destroys the blogosphere aren’t so far off.
