Do your blog subscribers ever reply to your blog posts in emails?

I have a few blogs meant for non-techie folks. Some of them subscribed to my blog through emails and some received through their friends’ recommendations.

What I find most unnerving is how they treat my blog posts as an email to them. They will sometimes reply to my blog posts very much like how people leave comments in our comments board. However, I get them through emails because they hit the reply button and write.

Normally, I do not reply because I do not want to have a thank you replied with another thank you. So, when I imagine people out there getting my blog posts via email into their personal inbox, I do get nervous. Usually, I wrote those posts on a one-to-one basis but when I write, it is meant for no one, especially not any individuals that I do not know. Yet, they replied like it was a ‘From me to you’ kinda warmth tone.

Eeek…do you ever get into such situations? It is rather freaky, you know?

I believe most of the non-tech savvy readers subscribe via email instead of blog feed. My blog email subscribers do sometimes reply my blog post via email. I usually suggest them to post the comments on the post so that other readers can read.
