I have also not been responding to some of the companies that provided me the posts and I have to write within five days. I just let them expire and never bother.

Things change. Priorities shift places. What matters previously, become less important now. USD5 used to mean a lot to me previously because if I can get 20 times of USD5, I am making a lot of money in a day already. But things get a bit dry and tiring after a while.

I have taken off PayPerPost codes and also the links on the posts on some blogs but I can never clean them all. There are thousands of posts on at least five blogs. So, it is almost impossible to clean up all the blogs.

Therefore, I can never go legal in some of my blogs even if i should decide that I am not ever going to sell links and write paid posts.

After making a lot of money, spending a lot of time teaching people how to make money, I have sort of move on. It is a good thing. I am free from the bondage of making money online. There is no more pressure to check my mobile phone when I am out shopping or having a good time to see if I have any money to make online. There is no more worries about deadline except for the occasional local ones.

However….I am still getting a stable income from passive income so I will just enjoy the phase until I feel like getting back to make money online aggressively.

I am not sure about others but with all these mergers and takeovers and whatnots, soon Google is going to watch every breath we take and every shit we make. LOL.

Let’s wait for Google to take over our Flickr photo account, Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress and every darn thing on the internet and we will be praying hard to Google god because Google controls every single thing we do online.

Sheesh…. I shouldn’t be grumbling so much because Google Adsense is still giving me a comfortable income, Gmail is the more reliable email account, Google Analytics keep me happy with the stats they churn out and Google Youtube is where I get to broadcast everything I see. And let’s not forget Firefox, PICASA and Blogger. Oh, the annoying pagerank cult too!

So, all hail Google god.

Since the money are from all of you, I must produce the expenditures :

I spent about RM280. Two receipts for the purchase of chicken, vegetables and spices are shown above. I also bought some soya sauce and soya bean pastes from a sundry shop. That’s how I rounded up the figure to RM280. Some of the items like eggs, oil, rice and cooking gas were also donated and not included in the RM280.

I collected : USD108 which I have cashed out at 3.54.
USD 108 x 3.54 = RM380
Ringgit Malaysia= RM408

TOTAL COLLECTED : RM788

TOTAL SPENT : RM280

I have RM508 in hands now. I will either use the money for another cooking project or I will donate it to The Lighthouse which is a drop-in centre for the homeless. The Lighthouse provides meals for the homeless every day during the week.

The above video is not related to my cooking project but it is a documentary we are trying to produce to highlight the plight of the homeless. I hope the video helps to give others a glimpse of what it is like sleeping on the street.

When opening business premises, it is normally done by lighting a lot of firecrackers and giving of ‘lai see’ or angpows which are red packets with money inside to employees.

So, is that why I haven’t been blogging over here on my make money blog for so many days? Is it because I am waiting for an auspicious time to resume blogging?

Nay…..I don’t believe in superstitions. I didn’t blog for so many days because the new year festivities have drained me out. Moreover, things are getting very slow lately. There are no exciting news on the make money online arena, as far as I am concerned.

Income for January 2009 wasn’t too bad because of the December spike of Christmas shopping. January was ok too because some of my food blogs did very well due to Chinese New Year recipes and foods searches.

However, I do wonder what February will bring? It is the shortest month. Business is slow globally. Some paid post companies are killing the industry with 50 US cent for PR 1/10 blog. So, yeah, gloomy days ahead.

But that’s not the end. It is time to work harder and be more creative in finding new oasis.

So, let’s set off some firecrackers and begin a new year full of promises and obstacles.
