So the pagerank came back, huh?

I have stopped using Firefox for a long time already. I normally use Chrome or Safari.

I think I have used Firefox with the annoying green juice marker for pageranks for several months.

This evening, I was using another computer which has only Firefox. And I discovered the pageranks came marching home. All three blogs of mine which were demoted to pagerank zero finally get back a PR3/10 eventhough I did nothing to the blogs.

The lesson I learnt it, if you stop the obssession over pagerank, the world still goes around. We don’t die or something.

Oh, I am not talking about this blog but some other blogs. So long as I sell links on the inner pages, Google will deny me of the green juice.

Who moved my pagerank (aka cheese)

I am currently reading Who Moved My Cheese. It is a rather corny book that I regretted buying. But then, my lecturer in the course I am taking, psycho-spirituality said it is a good book that talks about change. So, like the gullible person that I am, I spend RM29.90 on a really thin book with large fonts.

Here’s a short video I made the other day about me and things that cheesed me off :

I don’t know but I somehow relate the Who Moved My Cheese to Who Moved My Pagerank. As you can see, my pagerank was taken away recently. At other times, I would be terribly depressed and will analysed what when wrong, work around the clock to get it back and appeal to Google and such.

However, I don’t seem to care anymore. Now, I use only Safari on my iMac and Google Chrome on my Vista laptop. So, I don’t see any freaking non-existence green juice on Firefox to cheese me off. I have also reduced my online making money stuffs but concentrate of the web administration of two sites (that don’t belong to me but some organisations). Apart from that, I am either busy video filming, editing or spending time of my own.

The book on Who Moved My Cheese is about four mice who deal with changes. There are two who moved on as soon as a cheese station dries up. One Hem refused to do anything but live in constant fear. One Haw made some feeble attempts after being starved. I want to adopt the approach of the other two mice who constantly move on.

Who knows, video blogging will be the next big thing (it is already) and I could make money from them one day?

So, to those who have traits of Hem and Haw, try using Safari, Opera, Explorer, Chrome so that you don’t see the blardy green tool that boosts your ego when you have it and deflated your ego when it is gone, at Google’s fancy.

Hey people! Do you notice that Google is doing some major, drastic, killing pagerank updates?

I lost some pagerank, including this site and several other sites. Yet, certain sites gained PR. So, I think I know what’s killing the pageranks. But I am not telling……

I have been away the whole weekend for a full day workshop. Now, I am too tired to bother about the pagerank cos I no longer sell links based on pagerank, well at least not visibly.

So, how many of you have been pageranked zero? Google seems to update their Google pagerank more and more often. To those of you who got pageranked zero, you can find out how to get them back. Just check under my Pagerank category, found on the sidebar. To those of you who gained pagerank, don’t be too happy yet. You may lose them in another few weeks, or another few months. Nyekkkkk…

Did my personal blog just get a PR5/10?

Thanks to FlikTeoh who has a blog Online Money, I checked my pagerank and according to the little green bar, I have PR five! Pagerank 5/10!

I had pagerank 5/10 a long time ago but Google murdered my pagerank after they found out that I was doing PayPerPost. I removed all my PayPerPost posts (I can remove after 30 days btw) and begged Google and got back to Pagerank 4/10.

But all the while, I know I deserve PR5/10 because I am ‘totally clean’, ok? As for my other blogs, I don’t see any carnage this time and hope it remains the same.

So, did you get a Google pagerank update today? Seems that Google is updating pagerank every two months nowadays. It is certainly very distressing to see pagerank dropping but when it increases, it is time to celebrate as well.

It is March already! It is time I stop my slacking and get back to my blogging for money mission.

During the month of February, I let a lot of paid post assignments given to me expired. I didn’t grab any paid posts because I was either too tired, simply not interested in crapping or afraid of losing pagerank.

I also didn’t upgrade my blogs, the plugins or read anything to learn on improving make money blogging.

So, this post is to tell myself to stop being such a lazy bum and start working. March on. Go grab every pennies I can find along the way and make money.

Now that my routine and sending and fetching my sons are somewhat established, I can grab a few hours here and a few hours there to concentrate on doing what I do best. Blogging for money.

No more mind numbing, turning stupid Hong Kong TVB series. No more silly computer games. No more reading craps online. Only work, work, work. March. March. March.

BTW, I heard that there was a Google pagerank recently? Is it true? I don’t see any increase or disappearance of my blogs PR so I cannot be sure. Was there a Google pagerank update in February or March 2009?
