Yet another RM3,868 cheque

Oh, my hubby tie is placed there cos I am too lazy to pixelate out the address using computer software.

So, how’s your income from Nuffnang? Are you still making money? Have you signed up for Churp-Churp dot com? I don’t know exactly how it works, how much it pays etc but I had signed up and was suppose to tweet something.

Oh ya, if you are a making money blogger and you still don’t have a Twitter account, then, you are missing out a lot. Don’t live in the dinosaur age, go get a Twitter account already! RSS is like so yesterday already.

You may ask, “Do I get that much money from Nuffnang every month?” Well…lucky no. Cos if it is, then, I have to pay income tax, a lot! I just cashed out another RM2K just now. So, maybe it is not a monthly thing but a little bit longer than that.

Hiaks…Celebrating my first RM30K

If you recognise where this screenshot is taken from, good.
If you don’t, you probably missed one of the best place to make money online in Malaysia.

A cool RM3K is coming this month and also the next. I have made it a point to spend one third of my local income on me, myself, I every month. And I notice I have under-pampered myself because the credit card bill just arrived and I only spent RM1.3K on my credit card bills and most of them are purchases I made for groceries, books and stuffs for my sons.

So, must make it a point to spend more on myself so that I have more motivation to make more money.

I think I could make twice the amount if I have lived in KL because all the goodies go to KL bloggers. Penang bloggers are often passed over because we are not the cool and happening crowd. Another thing is some local advertisers hate me for my political stand. Not that I care, doh…..I won’t change the tune of my blog, everrrr to suit advertisers. Take it or leave it, I don’t really care.

So how much have you made from this company?

No notifications from Paypal about funds received

I was sitting here and wondering why none of the companies have paid me. Usually, several companies pay me before the end of the month.

So, I waited and waited for the emails to come in. And there is none. Finally, I logged into my PayPal account and discovered that five payments have been sent to my PayPal account without the email notification. Strange…..

Of course, I was pleasantly surprised to see my PayPal getting fat again. I had withdrawn the maximum amount allowed by PayPal for today and hope the next few companies will also pay me by tonight. Funny thing is PayPal does sent me the withdrawal notice but not the funds remittance notice. Wonder if their email system has glitches or is this a new method? Did you get your emails? Chitika and a few other companies have paid!

I just love month ends and beginning of the month for the clinging and clanging of USD cents in my PayPal. Sigh…such a beautiful sound.

Onward March ended with goofing

At the beginning of March, I tried to get back to work hard on making money online. For a few days, I did. I had a few paid posts which pays well. But along the way, once again, I dropped off.

Now, it is the last day of March already. My income is certainly lower than February. In fact, the income from Adsense for March is probably the lowest in the last one year. I see it as a trend that affects all Adsense publishers so I am not too worked up on that.

I had also left PayPerPost or IZEA and taken off the codes from a lot of my blogs. Some other paid post companies set down this rule of ‘choose us or PPP, either or, never both’ and due to the fifty USD cents gimmick by PayPerPost , I feel it is not worth to stick to PayPerPost anymore.

Meanwhile, I notice a trend in buying links in old posts. I am not sure if Google will eventually find out about this method of selling links. It is risky but it pays. So, I used it on some of my not-ever going to get PR blogs.

March has been a quiet month for me. There are no pagerank shake-ups, no new make money online buzz and nothing earth shattering.

So if you are new to blogging and think that blogging can make you money, sorry lah, you are too late. You missed the boat. The exciting journey was over. Gone were the days when I can call myself 12kmom.

However, for those of us who have a string of passive incomes, we are still doing fine. In fact, with my husband back to the work , I can splurge on digital stuffs again. I just bought a digital video camcorder yesterday. Now, I am planning for some exciting blogging project.

I don’t know if April is going to be a good or bad month. But what matters is I am not stressed out over the situation as I don’t depend on my blogging income. Thank God and hope things pick up soon.

wOOt! RM3.63 against USD1

My hubby went to cash out the money from my Google Adsense income through Western Union – CIMB. He mumbled a figure to me and I went, “Really, cannot be! According to my calculations, it should be around ‘X’ amount of money only.

Hubby took out the slip and showed me. Now, that got both of us puzzled because it cannot be that much. So, hubby mumbled that maybe the bank cashier must have made a mistake.

Upon reaching home, he took out the calculator and after conversion, we found that the exchange rate we get is RM3.63 per one US dollar. The usual rate was less than RM3.40 and on better days, it was hovering around RM3.43.

Now, that is way cool! So much extra money due to the foreign exchange rate. This gives me extra motivation to work harder on making money online.
