Wicko - Great post and explanation. I signed up, but am having trouble logging on already. Hope your support team gets back to me. I have to admit, Kontera was a breeze to sign up on, but the results are waiting to be seen.

Great business model and congrats! You guys are all geniuses!

I was pretty excited when I heard about the LinkInTxt program. I think it would be pretty deal to have it running with Kontera.

Okay, here's where I confuse you more. :( LinkInTxt is "not" the same as what Kontera offers. We have a product called LinkWords, which provides CPC and a pop up window like Kontera, but LinkInTxt is a completely different animal.

I think the confusion comes with the name being similar to Intellitxt, I'm guessing. But I can explain it for you and your readers here...

LinkInTxt is the selling of keywords within your existing content. Like Txt Link Ads on steroids. We have created our own googlebot, named lwbot. It's a search spider and it will visit your site and read a max of 10 pages each visit. Each time it visits, it will read your pages and find keywords within the content of your pages, then we store these keywords on our servers. Eventually, we have your entire site and all the available keywords stored on our end.

Now enter an advertiser. Advertisers benefit a lot more by buying a text ad that is inside content of a page rather than having it show up on the sidebar. Lets be honest, people read content over sidebars any time of the day. So lets say you have this page and our lwbot comes and reads it, inside this part of the page:
<blockquote>
<i>"Whereas LinkWorth LinkInTxt works by allowing advertisers to buy that keyword and place a link to their site. Although both Kontera and LinkWorth have the same pop-up little bubble, we get to fix our price on LinkWorth, i.e. USD5 or above. (per month)"</i>
</blockquote>
Our lwbot will find keywords like LinkWorth,LinkInTxt, advertisers, keyword, link, site, kontera, pop-up, bubble ... and so on. We save all these keywords with relation to this url. Just like a search engine does.

The advertiser comes along and sells bubbles and wants to buy text ads with the keyword of bubble or bubbles. They would do a search and find that you have "bubble" on this page. The advertiser then makes a request to rent this keyword from you for the price you originally set for keywords. If you accept, then you basically hyperlink the term "bubble" to point to the advertiser's bubble site. No pop ups with LinkInTxt.

Once we finally figured out the best way to run our bot, it has been busy at work. We have over 250k keywords already available for sale, so imagine the money available to be made. You don't have to clutter up your sidebars anymore or you can do both and make even more money.

Hope this helps explain LinkInTxt better. PS. We are almost finished with step by step tutorials that will be up on the dashboard shortly. After that, we're going to work on visual tutorials so you can read and also watch each in action.

Ok, I've taken up enough space here. :-)
Regards,
Ron aka Wicko
