12Dec Blogging is really, really dead and canned
I talk briefly about this in my personal blog and I am going to talk about it again. For those who still believe in the fluff of blogging, I think they will get very traumatised if they open their eyes to the real blogging world now.
There is this group of folks who do not believe in commercializing their blogs and any ads are seen as bastardizing their pure and virginal intention on blogging. They believe in sharing their thoughts and have the idealistic view that just because they have these righteous views, their words will be adored and worshipped. They laughed at those who monetize their blogs.
Then, there is the group of bloggers who keep chanting, content is king and seriously believe if they keep wasting hours and days writing good contents, they will be kings.
Let’s not forget the group of noobs who jumped on the bandwagon too late. Some are still promoting Agloco! Serious shit! Just yesterday, I saw one blogger telling his probably non-existence readers about making money with Agloco. I am too kind to break his bubbles so I just move on.
The way I see it, blogging is dead. Forget about blogging. People steal our contents all the time. So, what for write such good contents anymore.
And now…they have even automated the comments. I picked this up from my personal blog comment spam. I had edited some parts. See? People will find a way to rape our virginal blogs in every imaginable way.
This comment was posted automatically using some shitty bloggs ccomment Poser software. Would you like to make serious money in this way of advertising too? So start today!
Therefore, on this 12th day of December 2007, The Obnoxious 5xmom declares that BLOGGING ERA IS OVER. DEAD.
Now, move on and find something nice to do. Knitting? Model airplanes. Wateva but blogging.

I would say that blogging is far from dead. There are tons of niches just waiting for those interested in sharing what they know and learn.
Perhaps it’s the make money online blogs that are in the downward spiral but only because it’s such a tough market to work in if you don’t have a very specific niche within that market.
I am having a great time with numerous blogs in a variety of niches. Gotta love fishing, travel and gardening for starters, people still love their hobbies and will spend.
