17Jan Bloggers who gained their pagerank (PR) after reconsideration submission
This morning, I received a happy news from Pablo. He is an active blogger and one of his blog was penalized just like mine. A few of us who run multiple blogs saw a pagerank zero eventhough our blogs were not associated with PayPerPost but has the code in there.
Pablo got back his PR 4/10 on Delicous Asian Food.
The followings are people who reported either a pagerank increase, a new pagerank (for a new blog, previously unranked) or gained their pagerank after submitting to Google for reconsideration:
1) Sir Jorge got a PR 1 for his skateboarding blog
2) LSU BCS reported pageranks for his blogs
3) Phyzoe reported increase too
4) Online Money got a PR 2
5) Steven Goh is one happy blogger to gain PR
6) Raymond new blog got a PR3/10. That is prove that content is king. He updates it regularly with good content.
7) TerenceLoh.com who hardly updates his blog and he only write few sentences post also got a PR 1. (nay, thanks to my SEO and those Russians sites who pwnd the keyword terenceloh.com hehehe)
8 ) Samm, my blog buddy and I were so happy when we discovered we gained PR on some new blogs we have been building secretly.
9) My blog aggregator got a PR 1/10. Another proof that getting links can help gain PR.
10) Hobart who writes chunglingstudent.com is happy to gain PR 3/10
11) ketan notices increase in backlinks but yet to gain his PR yet but it will come eventually. Unless you killed it with paid posts and text link.
12) Friedbeef is a terrific blog with huge traffic, great content and one of the few good blogs from Malaysia. He writes some editorial and unfortunately, has been smacked with PR 0/10. I hope James will do what can be done and get a resconsideration.
13) VincentLiew finally got PR 3
14) Little Guy Network too finally see PR 3
I took the links from my previous post on Google PR updates.
15) KahPeng too is very happy to finally get his PR after reconsideration
16) I read that Hongkiat also gained PR 4/10 back. Hongkiat dot com is another good blog that deserves PR.
No doubt we want to brush off the importance of PR, somehow at the back of our mind, we will still look upon a blog as better or normal based on its PR. This is especially so when they are writing niches like technology, gadgets, make money and the internet.
So, if you have been unfairly smacked or decided to clean up your blog and ask for reconsideration, do find out if my previous post “How I got Google to give me back my PR” is helpful.

For the last six weeks, I’ve been running a test to determine what exactly Google’s penalty entails. The results of the first phase of the test can be found at the address attached to this comment.

Pagerank is like a drug. When you´re once high (in google, not on dope:))), you never ever wanna come down. Thats why I am proud on my http://www.topshop.sk and its result in SERP:)

Can’t agree more. Content is King and that’s what usually decides the Pagerank. Will be trying to get my PR !
