Blogger’s Blogspot – Scheduled Post Publishing

Finally, Blogger’s Blogspot is coming out with Schedule Post Publishing like what we have in WordPress.

Our two latest features, which you can try out now on draft.blogger.com, are:

* Scheduled Post Publishing If you write a post on Blogger in draft and set the post’s date and time to some time in the future, we’ll schedule the post to appear on your blog at that time, and not before.

I have several Blogspot blogs and certainly welcome this feature. You may be wondering why do I keep Blogspot blogs when I already have WordPress.org hosted on my own server. Well, these used to be my original blogs and they have earned me a lot of money. So, I continue maintaining them nicely. Original posts, nice templates and constant updating.

For those whose sole blog is Blogspot, I am sure they will like the scheduled post publishing because this way, you can save pre-written blog posts and have them published at a future time you schedule.

I do this for all my blogs because when I am in the mood to write, I can churn out many posts at the same time. So, I time-stamp them and they just appear at the time we want, whether it is the next hour, the next day or next week.

You can just login to your Blogger’s account and look for the blue blogger button (instead of the usual orange colour).

And yes, this post is time-stamp and will be auto-publish at 9.00 am on April 7th eventhough I wrote this at midnight, April 7th. :)
