The art of blogging is an unappreciated art of our modern day. In order to turn what would be a normally boring subject into something people get interested in takes a lot of savvy. Adding personality your blog can only be done by those that have personality themselves.

As quoted, you have to maintain the balance of being a person and a money making blog. And if you can do both, making money is much more meaningful. Why not leave a little space for your thoughts and personal notes in your blog? Besides, you’re readers might be more interested when you put a little touch of your personality on the site.

I agree with the above comment, blogging is hard work and you really have to love what you do to get the motivation and make money

I have my personal technical blog wher I do it for fun. And sometimes after a year even profit from the knowledge I could forget. And other blogs just to make money like You do and every time I have a free minut I try to write something interesting on the privat blog. This way I still have a lot of fun while bogging :)

You have to love blogging to be successful. I don’t think that you will be motivated enough to make a killing just doing it for money.
