At What Point Is The Blog a Somebody?I will open this question up for discussion. How much would a nobody blog have to make before it becomes a somebody? $100 a month? $1000 a month? $10,000 a month? – John Chow
I am curious to know too.
What sort of blogs do you look up to? I am referring to those ‘how to make money’ and ‘how to be better blogger’ kind of blogs.
The money factor doesn’t impress me because many of those A-list bloggers are bloggers because they are already rich and in the right industry. So, even if they claim to make a million dollar a month, you won’t find me gaping and gawking over them.
Then, there are those bloggers who are really generous with their tips like Problogger. He motivates and encourages bloggers instead of pushing his affiliate programs. This one deserves my respect.
If a hardworking and innovative student makes a $100, I will be impressed too because he made it with his own resources.
And I consider this blog a ‘somebody’ already. Hiaks, hiaks, hiaks. Because it is still on page one of many keywords.
So, how do you measure that ‘status’? Through their contents, money they make or their traffic?
