I think it’s better to get a better job, because with even more visitors than you, Lilian, I find monetizing traffic is getting harder and harder….because you know what? Many of the visitors are actually trying to “spy” on my sites…more and more people are trying to “make money online,” which to me, has not really a bright future – for anyone earning less than 10k.

Simple logic – If everyone was trying to “make money online,” WHO will click Adsense? NO ONE. Who will buy? NO ONE. But EVERYONE will be selling something…or trying to sell something.

So, most of the money will go to the big dogs once again, you know what I mean? Big companies, etc. Because people trust them and will only buy from them. All the little guys will get squashed, and this I forsee will increase in the next 2 years. Am I optimistic? Not really. The Internet is NOT a really good way to make money. If I could, I’d be a pro footballer in the English Premier League. Know how much they make? Phew!

I think 2007 was the best year for me. In 2008, as well I’m trying hard to make money from blogging. I have been working in blogging & money making niche right now

Yeah… The income seems to be on the rise a bit I guess. I had some sites hit by Google as well – but such is life in this industry!

Andrew – It is a big smack for us but I guess it makes us much more aware. Cheers to better days ahead.

claudia – We have to change strategy and what works previously, no longer work now. But I am sure there are bright prospect if we keep plodding on and not drop out of the game.

I am suffering!! Nothing like the pre 2007 times. Still things are beginning to look a little better. I can almost stand on my two feet with online income.
