17Oct Already getting withdrawal syndrome from not making money
We made a last minute plan to go to Sabah or what the foreigners all the Borneo island for a holiday tomorrow. We won’t be back till next Monday.
Due to this last minute decision, I have to rush out all my paid posts like a mad woman last night. In fact, I still have several which I have to submit by tonight. It is not easy to juggle making online reservations for hotels and flights (which by the way sucks), deal with my kids, the packing plus a 1001 things to do.
As it is, I am already forcing myself not to take any more paid posts. But this morning, I got 10 more assignments which I have to complete before I leave.
When you are so used to making money writing paid posts, it is very hard to ignore those money calling out to you. For example, last night I wanted to spend time Googling for travel information, organise it, print and use it as my travel reference. But there were lots of paid posts from PayPerPost and I ended up earning USD132 last night between the hours of 12 midnight to 4 am. BTW, I have breached USD13K from PPP for a year of blogging. I think my one year anniversary with PPP is on October 26.

I will be bringing my laptop along and hope to catch up with my mails, whatever big money assignments and blog from there. You cannot take away the blog from an addicted blogger. Aiyoohhh….holiday means holiday la. Which part of holiday that you don’t understand? Chill lah….your total from last night is how much i make per month. So you have got it real good. Leave some of the opps to us la. Heheheh~

I had a similar dilemma when I was playing poker online. When I found a good game I couldn’t help but look at my computer as an ATM machine. It was so hard to pull myself away that I was having trouble with my social life.
I guess the moral of the story is you can’t get too wrapped up in anything. “Everything in moderation,” good old Socrates used to say.
